In our daily work,we often consider what kind of microscope is able to provide what we want to see.To solve the problem,we should figure out following questions first:
1.What is the dimension of things we want to see 2.We want detail or only prove its existence. 3.What is we want to see?Transparent or solid. 4.What is we want to see luminous body or nonluminous one. |
Normally, there is a limit of resolution for optical microscope, when the limit is exceeded, the optical microscope will not be able to discern the observed object, this doesn’t mean can’t see any object smaller than the resolution ratio.Normally, the resolution ratio limit of the optical microscope is 200nm,in general situation, the bigger multiple the objective is,the higher resolution ratio it will reach and the bigger the aperture is,the higher resolution ratio it will be.The resolution ratio limit of our eye is 0.1mm,we can thereby reason that if the object we want to see clearly is 10um,the minimum multiple we need is 10×.When the eyepiece is 10×,we just need 1× objective to see whether the object exists. However,if we want to see the outline defects of this object,in this situation, the multiple we need will exceed 10× or higher.
